The MADD Irving, TX office, is currently seeking candidates for the position of Associate Director of Field Fundraising.
GENERAL PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Design, develop and deliver training and resources and provide consultation for successful fundraising in the MADD field. Accountable for achievement of fundraising goals in a region of approximately 10 states.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Design, develop and deliver fundraising training and resources to be used by field offices. Manage vendor relations pertaining to the outsourcing of materials.
• Deliver training/consultations in goal setting and work with the Executive Directors in the establishment of fundraising plans for field offices.
• Evaluate and report the results of field fundraising events and event execution to the Director Field Fundraising.
• Review quarterly results of revenue generation, identify areas of deficiency in fund-raising efforts and make appropriate recommendations to correct the fund deficiency to attain regional goal.
• Ensure the achievement of established fundraising goals in assigned region by establishing/developing relationships with field staff/volunteers to support successful execution of revenue-generation strategies.
• Educate State/Affiliate offices on the appropriate method for conducting/sponsoring special events, including knowledge of all appropriate regulatory requirements.
• Provide direct support to field offices during pre-event and event activities. Partner with field development staff to troubleshoot problems. Attend field fund-raising events in assigned region as appropriate.
• Participate in the recruitment process of field staff with fundraising responsibilities.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree in related field such as Marketing or Business – Non Profit Management with 3+ years of progressive experience specifically related to non-profit fund-raising efforts.
• Proven results in field-based fundraising execution, solicitation, special event planning/management. Walkathon fundraising experience is preferred.
• High level of computer proficiency, including Microsoft office products.
• Strong communication skills, including presentation and written skills.
• Strong work ethic.
• Ability to multi-task to meet deadlines/timelines of multiple projects.
• Heavy travel and flexible schedule required.
