Home Welcome to MADD West Virginia Our Mountain State has some of the most scenic roadways in the nation. But too often, these roadways turn deadly with drunk driving crashes. Driving under the influence (DUI) is one of the most frequently committed crimes throughout the State of West Virginia. Drivers under the influence are a public hazard and cause crashes resulting in death, bodily injury, property destruction, and emotional harm to innocent victims. Three out of every ten persons will be impacted by a drunk driving crash in their lifetime. Drunk driving affects all ages, all walks of life, and happens at all hours, on all types of roadways. The lives of victims and their loved ones are suddenly, violently and irreversibly changed by drunk driving crashes. Our goal is to eliminate drunk driving in West Virginia with volunteers throughout the state helping us accomplish our mission. MADD is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and we need your financial donations, as well your time, to maintain our public awareness efforts and our programs. Please, let us hear from you! The headquarters of MADD West Virginia is located in the Kanawha Valley area and coordinates activities throughout the state.
