Join a talented and energetic team at a National Non-Profit, working on development and execution of special event programming and overall field fundraising initiatives.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Support the Field Fundraising Department in the development and execution of special event programming and overall field fundraising initiatives. Responsible for the accuracy, timeliness and completion of all administrative assignments within the department.
ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:
1. Provide timely and efficient customer service as defined by MADD’s best practices to field staff, volunteers and donors in response to event programs, special events and fundraising requests.
2. Support field staff with technical issues and challenges associated with Convio Event Management Software (constituent management, website layout, donation entry).
3. Responsible for developing presentations, typing correspondence, preparation of monthly calendars and scheduling of appointment and travel arrangements.
4. Assist with the design creative and marketing strategies associated with projects.
5. Compile information and prepare weekly reports for the department’s activities utilizing a variety of software products designed for business purposes.
6. Review bills and invoices for accuracy and budgetary compliance. Prepare check requests subject to management approval.
7. Assist with the planning and implementation of trainings, conferences and meetings.
8. Other duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
1. Minimum of three years of previous work experience in an administrative capacity or service environment.
2. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, mathematical and communication ability, including command of grammar, composition and spelling.
3. Highly proficient with computer business programs, including word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and database software. Excellent keyboard skills required.
4. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
5. Able to work a flexible schedule when needed.
