Bill Windsor

Bill Windsor is Associate Vice President of Consumer Safety for Nationwide. In that role, Windsor is an advocate for safety initiatives that help Nationwide policyholders prevent losses and protect what matters to them most including key issues like drunk driving, underage drinking, teen driving, building codes and distracted driving.  Windsor works with many different safety organizations including the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety, Lifesavers, Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Highway Safety Coalition, Governor’s Highway Safety Association, and sits on the Board for the following organizations:

• MADD
• Institute for Business and Home Safety
• National Safety Council
• Advocates for Highway and Auto Safety
• Network of Employers for Traffic Safety

Windsor has been in the insurance industry for 30 years, serving across a wide spectrum of functional roles in both the life and property/casualty industry.  He has spent the last 24 years with Nationwide Insurance in both field and staff positions, including agency management, finance, marketing, underwriting and safety. 

Windsor received his Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Rider College and his MBA from the University of Pennsylvania, The Wharton School.  He has earned both the CPCU and CLU designations.
