|Lambeau Field||MADD at Lambeau Field||Packers President Mark Murphy|
Last week, MADD presented to the staff and players of the Green Bay Packers about the very human impact of drunk driving, how it can be avoided, and how the team can engage with MADD's mission. In particular, Jan Withers shared her story of the loss of her daughter Alisa, and Phyllis Reed, a MADD Wisconsin volunteer and victim speaker, talked about the loss of her son, her resultant depression, and how the Packers were a part of her healing process.
Packers President Mark Murphy required the presentation for all staff and MADD presented at three staff sessions and one player/coach session. Almost every person who works for the Packers went through a presentation.
The Packers staff and players were uniformly professional, warm, and engaged with the presentations and it was a good event for all. The players were especially kind to the victim speakers.
