Metro Car Wash Community Partnership Program

Beginning in late October, MADD Southern Arizona will have community partnership cards available for everyone in the greater Tucson area to use every time they get their cars washed at either of the Metro Car Wash locations in Tucson.  Each time the card is presented at check-out, 15% of the full-priced sale will be donated to MADD Southern Arizona.  Thank you Metro Car Wash for your assistance in helping us achieve MADD's mission!  Be sure to contact the MADD Southern Arizona office to find out how you can obtain your community partnership card and head over to either of the Metro Car Wash locations to keep your car looking its best!  For more information on Metro Car Wash, visit their website at www.metrocarwash.com.

UMADD is Coming to The University of Arizona!

What is UMADD?  A UMADD group is a student-led campus organization that works with campus and community leaders to address alcohol-related problems.  Partnering with a dedicated faculty advisor, UMADD groups can play an active role in creating a safer campus and community.  We are excited that The University of Arizona chapter of UMADD is getting up and running on campus!  For more information on UMADD or to get on the contact list for upcoming meetings and events, contact Jessica at jessica.delfs@madd.org. 

Congratulations to This Year's Participants in the 2008 Paper Icon Campaign!

We are proud to announce that seventeen middle and high school students from throughout Southern Arizona will be participating in this year's "I Have A Choice" paper icon campaign, aimed at eliminating underage drinking.  These middle and high school students are committed to making a difference this holiday season by encouraging their peers and members of their communities to say "no" to underage drinking while raising money for MADD Southern Arizona's Victim Services.  Thank you to the following schools for pledging to stay safe and sober this year!

Additionally all Tucson locations of both Viva Burrito and Brake Max will be participating in our paper icon this year!  Be sure to stop by any of their combined 18 locations and don't forget to become a MADD hero by purchasing your icon for $1!  Thank you Viva Burrito and Brake Max!
