Officers

The 2006/7 officers are:

Patti Eichhorn  President

PattiPatti has been a MADD volunteer for over 14 years.  She is a past President of the National Board of Directors and a founder of our chapter.

Steve McKaskey    Vice President

SteveSteve is a retired Fire Division Chief.  His oldest son, Matthew and two other young men were killed by a drunk driver on February 24, 2002.  Shortly thereafter he, his wife Kathy and son Chris became involved in MADD.  The motivation for their involvement is, "We must do all we can to help prevent others from suffering as we do."  Steve is a graduate of the 2003 Leadership MADD national training program and the Victim Advocate Training Institute.

Michael Shahda   Vice President

 

 

Theresa Byrne   Secretary

TheresaTheresa was hit by a drunk driver in 1990.  After that Theresa wanted to help get MADD's message out to as many people as possible.  Along with her husband Jerry and son Jerry Jr. they have been involved with MADD for two years now.

Debra Block   Treasurer

DebraDebra became involved with MADD after her husband, David Grondin, was killed by a drunk driver in Nov. of 1991. During the mid 1990's, Debra volunteered for the Bay Area Chapter.  She was Treasurer for two years and a public speaker.  She is one of the founders of the Alameda County Chapter of MADD, which received its charter in January of 2003, and was the first chapter president. Now Debra is a trained Victim Advocate, helping victim families with the emotional issues of losing a loved one in a drunk driving crash, and assisting them through the court process. She is also in her 2nd year as Treasurer.
