1st Annual Georgetown Police Department "RIDE to Benefit MADD Delaware"

The Georgetown Police Department will be sponsoring the 1^st annual “RIDE TO BENEFIT MADD DELAWARE ” on August 23^rd, 2009 at Harley-Davidson of Seaford , DE .  The Georgetown Police are very proud to be a strong supporter of MADD and believe in everything they represent.  We ask for your support in helping the Delaware Chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving.  

The proceeds raised from this Bike Ride and event will be donated to MADD Delaware so that they can continue to provide victim support and services at no charge to the victim, community education, legislative support and outreach programs throughout our great State of Delaware .   Unlike many others, MADD’s cause doesn’t need a cure; it already exists - the cure is awareness and education so that each person in Delaware chooses to drive sober or designate a driver if they drink alcohol.   We hope that you recognize the need for this organization; especially in Delaware .  We invite you bike-rider or not to join us for a fun filled day with good food, good music fun for all ages.  For those that are not participating in the ride, please bring your families, friends, neighbors and co-workers to enjoy the many fun-filled activities and show your support to stopping drunk driving and MADD Delaware as you become a vital part of our "Campaign to Eliminate Drunk Driving."  We also hope that you will show your support with a donation to the “RIDE TO BENEFIT MADD DELAWARE ”.  Any donations will be greatly appreciated, but donations of over $500.00 will have their names added to the graphics design.   Donations of $1000.00 or more will have their sponsorship recognized by having their logo printed along with the design attached.

Registration: 9:00 am to 10:15 am

Fee: $25.00 per bike (includes ticket for food/drink)

         $5.00 per additional rider (includes ticket for food/drink)

RIDE to Benefit MADD Delaware will start at 10:30 am
