LionShop & Share

A new charitable program from Food Lion is called "LionShop & Share." Please sign up to support Yadkin County MADD! Food Lion has changed their program to make it even easier and more convenient for you to shop your way to helping prevent drunk driving! How does it help Yadkin County MADD?
Each time you shop at Food Lion and use your MVP card, a portion of your total grocery purchase will be donated to Yadkin County MADD. If we can earn the highest total accumulated sales out of all participating charities, Yadkin County MADD will be awarded $350 for the quarter! This means that if we have the most shoppers doing the most shopping for the LionShop & Share program all year long - we can earn a total of $1,400 for the year!

How do I sign up to support Yadkin County MADD?
It will take less than five minutes to sign up - then all you need to do is "shop 'til you drop" at Food Lion (with your MVP Card)!

You may either use the Internet (http://www.foodlion.com - look for the Fundraising link) or call 1-800-210-9569 (Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.) to sign up for LionShop & Share. Have your Food Lion MVP Card ready - you will to enter your name, address, and MVP Card number. (Don't have an MVP Card? Hurry to your local Food Lion to get one! You will need your Food Lion MVP Card to participate in LionShop & Share.)

If using the Internet to sign up, you will be prompted to enter which state, city, and charity to support. Make sure to enter:
State: NC
City: Yadkinville
Charity: Choose Yadkin County MADD from the drop-down list.

When do I sign up for the LionShop & Share program?
The program runs quarterly. Customers must sign up ten days before the quarter begins. After you have signed up, every time you shop with your Food Lion MVP card, you will be earning a donation to Yadkin County MADD!

Once you have signed up the first time, you do not need to sign up again for another year. (Although you may choose to change the charity that benefits for each quarter, if you choose to support a charity other than Yadkin County MADD.)
