Did you know Davidson County ranks 4th in the State for teen fatals for 2005-2008?  This is not a statistic to be proud of. Something must be done to save our teens.   A total of 554 teens were killed across the State for this same time period.

Every person has the option to make a choice.  Decisions have ever lasting effects. Sometimes you get a second chance. Sometime you don't.  Sometimes you can't walk away from a bad decision.

Teen crashes can be prevented. Many teen crashes are caused by distractions (cell phones, other teens in the car, loud music, eating and drinking) alcohol and speed.  Another risk is lack of experience driving at night and in adverse weather.

Research shows that when a parent takes an active role in their teens driving education, their teens chances of being in a crash can be reduced by up to one-third.

Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) is an excellent tool to help educate our teens.  By supporting MADD you support Public Awareness/Youth Programs, Victim Services, Court Monitoring and many other services.

Become a MADD member and help make a difference go to http://www.madd.org/Forms/Volunteer-Form.aspx and follow the steps.
