Hello,
To all of those that do not know me I am the C.A.S. Leader for Wilkes and Iredell Counties. A very proud new leader, ready to lead our teenagers and families to a healthier and happier life style without the fear of alcohol and meeting its fate on our highways. Will you not join me and help the already active groups I have going to stop underage drinking and drunk driving crashes across our beautiful state ! ! Life is too short to watch our teenagers ruin their lives, or watch those that turn to alcohol for various reasons ruin their lives HELP ME AND LETS MAKE A DIFFERENCE. God created us equally and no one person is any better than the other one. So lets help each other and it starts with education! ! ! !
I began as a volunteer too back in August of 2005. Thanks to a very wonderful officer that believed in me and thought I could make a difference and introducing me to a young woman that has really worked very hard to make a difference AND SHE HAS I contribute my work and success to Mandy Collins, the C.A.S. Leader of Surry and Yadkin Counties. She has worked very hard to carry her counties thus far and in August of 2005 I decided to join her. After she and MADD accepted me and trained me. I was ready to fight for all of our lives. Like many of you reading this now. I too am a victim of a drunk driving crash.
So the thanks and success of my counties began with Mrs. Collins and for her work with me and her counties I am very grateful! Thanks Mandy!!!!! Since I have gotten started a lot of officers have influenced my path also. From Surry County all the way down to Wilmington North Carolina. A VERY BIG THANKS TO THE OFFICERS THAT STOPPED AND TOOK THE TIME TO ANSWER MY QUESTIONS AND HELP MAKE ME THE MADD LEADER I AM TODAY ! ! !
Now to what has been going on and what my Counties have been working hard at.
We begin back in February with much preparation and planning to get the next few Booze It And Lose it Campaigns going. Here is what we have done so far..........

Very successful check points thanks to all of law enforcement involvement. Many more to be done and many more drunks to stop from crashing and killing innocent lives, from 9-11-01 a man said this before he died trying to save many lives........ Let's Roll! That hero is gone but,..... NEVER FORGOTTEN. I now would like to remember him and say, 'Let's Roll and stop drunk driving. Zero tolerance in 2007-2008 ! Won't you come help us! ! ! !

I am in contact with my counties and we are continuing to plan more check points and begin talking about saturation patrols. Come on out and help us!
