Court Monitoring
MADD’s mission is to stop drunk driving, support victims of this violent crime and prevent underage drinking. The MADD Court Monitoring Program will focus on NC counties. By implementing a Court Monitoring Program, MADD can work to ensure successful prosecution of DWI arrests. The hope is to send a message to impaired drivers that neither society, nor the judiciary, will tolerate drunk driving. The MADD Court Monitoring Program will train volunteers to observe DWI cases, hold training programs for court monitoring volunteers, gather data, engage new members and educate the community about court actions. If you would like more information on the Court Monitoring Program, or are interested in becoming a part of the program, please contact the State Office at (919) 787-6599 or 800-248-6233 or visit this link https://mail.madd.org/exchweb/bin/redir.asp?URL=http://www.madd.org/madd_programs/10439 . | ||||
