What is the most frustrating thing about volunteers? Answer: Their availability.

Yes, volunteerism is that double-edged sword. To offer ones self in the service of others in need is absolutely one of the most honorable gifts possible. That's why we are so often frustrated when we can't match up our work and time with the volunteer's available time. It's certainly not the volunteer's fault and all we can hope is that they'll remain interested until the next project or program.
