     ****URGENT HELP NEEDED****
Two Magistrate judges in the state of South Carolina have ruled that the 21 year old drinking age is unconstitutional. This may now be heading to the South Carolina Supreme Court and they may bring the drinking age back down to 18. MADD SC needs your help. Please write, call or fax our State Supreme Court Justices and let them know you support MADD and the 21 year old law. (Unfortunately there is only 1 email address)

Mothers Against Drunk Driving supports providing tools, resources and training to law enforcement to allow them to stop drunk driving and prevent underage drinking.  MADD is committed to the Campaign to Eliminate Drunk Driving that includes interlocks for all convicted drunk drivers' vehicles and increased enforcement such as checkpoints and patrols to deter drunk driving.  Unfortunately, South Carolina will need to work on closing many loopholes in its law to help stop drunk driving and equip enforcement officers with the legislative backing needed to secure drunk driving arrests, including:  higher penalties needed for breath test refusal, and recognition of .08 per se law.

VOLUNTEERS WANTED!!

Do you have special talents and want to share that talent for the benefit of others? No matter what gifts you have, we can put them to good use!   We need you!...Your time, efforts and expertise!!  Consider becoming a part of an amazing and wonderful organization!  Please join our efforts across
