NEWBERRY CAS LEADER IS REAPPOINTED TO AGING COUNCIL

Congratulations to Margaret Brackett, Newberry County CAS Leader for her reappointment to the South Carolina Council on Aging Advisory Committee.
Governor Mark Sanfored nominated the reappointment at a Senate Medical Affairs Committee meeting on Wednesday, May 28th, at the Gressette Office Building.  This is Mrs. Brackett's third year on the Advisory Committee.  The Senate confirmed the reappointment for the period of June 2008 to June 2010.  The committee focuses on issues related to senior citizen programs in South Carolina.  Mrs. Brackett is pictured below with Senate Medical Affairs Committee Chairman, the Honorable Harvey S. Peeler, Jr.
