History of MADD-El Paso - The El Paso District Chapter of Mothers Against Drunk Driving was started in 1982 when Betty Duggan, along with six others, decided that something needed to be done to alleviate the severe DWI problem in El Paso. 

From its humble beginning, the El Paso District Chapter has prospered to service the El Paso area, as well as other counties.  These counties include Brewster, Culberson, Hudspeth, Jeff Davis and Presidio counties.

The mission of Mothers Against Drunk Driving is to stop drunk driving, support the victims of this violent crime and prevent underage drinking.
