TOWN HALL MEETING - APRIL 21 - ORANGE COUNTY LIBRARY
We are thrilled to partner with the Orange County Partnership for Alcohol and Drug Free Youth and SAMSHA to host a Town Hall Meeting to talk about the dangers of underage drinking and how we can save our youth.  The meeting will be followed by a free Power of Parents workshop sponsored by Nationwide and the Governor’s Highway Safety program.  Each parent will receive a free handbook filled with tips and tools to help you start the potentially lifesaving conversation about alcohol with your teens.

WHEN: 5:30 PM, April 21, 2014

WHERE:   Orange County Library, 137 W Margaret Ln, Hillsborough, NC

WHY: About 4,700 people die each year as a result of underage drinking — more than all other illegal drugs combined. PowerTalk 21 is a day for parents to start talking with their kids about alcohol in order to prevent underage drinking and its many associated dangers.
