Today, we can see a future without drunk driving, but we need your help to get there. Please join us in the fight by pledging to support the Campaign to Eliminate Drunk Driving.
Oklahoma enacted the Erin Swezey Act in 2011, to require ignition interlocks for all repeat offenders and first-time convicted drunk drivers with a BAC of .15 or greater. The law also requires interlocks for first-time offenders with a BAC of .08 to .14 if they choose to drive during the six-month suspension following a DUI conviction. MADD asks Oklahoma lawmakers to improve the current law to require ignition interlocks for all offenders at a BAC of .08 or higher.
