Donate to MADD PENNSYLVANIA!

You are invited to MADD Pennsylvania’s 5K Walk Like MADD to be held on June 24, 2012 in Conshohocken, PA along the Schuylkill River Trail . Monies raised will allow us to help put an end to drunk driving as well as provide support at no cost to victims and survivors in the Southeast Region serving Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia Counties, and parts of the North Central Region including Berks, Lehigh and Northampton Counties.

We know these are challenging economic times, but the need for MADD in the community is just as great as ever. Last year, there were 3,549 people killed/injured in these counties by a drunk driver. Your support will help us save lives right here in
our own community.

We would greatly appreciate it if you could help us in one of three ways:

1. Walk with us.  Make a difference by forming your own walk team, joining an existing team or joining as an individual walker.
2. Become a virtual walker.  If you are unable to attend the event, you can register to walk with us in spirit.
2. Donate.  Help support MADD Pennsylvania without walking by donating to the event.  Every dollar counts.

This year our goal is to raise $30,000 in order to continue to provide our programs and services to the community. Your support will help MADD save lives and change lives for the better.

We appreciate your support and hope to see you on Sunday, June 24, 2012 at Walk Like MADD!

Founded by a mother whose daughter was killed by a drunk driver, Mothers Against Drunk Driving® (MADD) is the nation’s largest nonprofit working to protect families from drunk driving and underage drinking. With the help of those who want a safer future, MADD’s Campaign to Eliminate Drunk Driving® will end this danger on America’s roads. PowerTalk 21™ is the national day for parents to talk with their kids about alcohol, using the proven strategies of Power of Parents, It’s Your Influence™ to reduce the risk of underage drinking. And as one of the largest victim services organizations in the U.S., MADD also supports drunk driving victims and survivors at no charge, serving one person every 10 minutes at 1-877-MADD-HELP.

Together, these programs ensure that MADD achieves its lifesaving mission.
