    Designate a Driver

    The designated driver is not the person who drank the fewest beers. A designated driver is an adult who is designated before celebrations begin to provide a safe and sober ride home.     Diversity

    Drunk driving doesn’t discriminate – it affects men, women and children from all walks of life. MADD has a number of culturally specific programs and materials designed to help save lives and prevent injuries in Hispanic, Native American and African American communities. Learn more


    High-Risk Driver

    High-risk drivers are one of our greatest public threats – and one of our biggest challenges in the fight to eliminate drunk driving. MADD’s High-Risk Driver program seeks to deal with high-risk driving through restrictions, restitution and recovery. Learn more


    Social Host

    Thinking about hosting a party where youth under 21 have access to alcohol? Think again. Social host liability refers to laws that hold individuals responsible for underage drinking events on property they own, lease or otherwise control. Unlike laws that prohibit furnishing alcohol to youth under 21, social host laws focus on preventing underage drinking on private property without regard to who furnishes the alcohol. Learn more


    Tie One On For Safety

    Go ahead and tie one on – for safety that is. As part of the Campaign to Eliminate Drunk Driving, MADD’s Tie One On For Safety asks motorist to place a MADD red ribbon or decal on their vehicles as a pledge to drive safe, sober and buckled up during the holidays – and throughout the year.     MADD’s Multimedia Class Packs give schools a dynamic resource they can use year-round. Because they’re designed for use with smaller audiences, Class Packs encourage conversation and interaction.
