The MADD Metrolina area is preparing for our 5K Walk. It will be on May 2, 2009 (rain or shine). We are looking for as many supporters, volunteers, etc. as we can get. Please put in for your team as soon as possible. (more information is located on the home page of our website).

Our VIP (Victim Impact Panel) class is held at the Union County court house at 6:30PM. Classes are the 1st Monday of each Month. There is a $50 Fee (cash or Money order only) No CHECKS will be accepted.  Please visit the "Victim Impact Panel" link on the home page (it is located in the blue section at the left of the page)

A MADD Metrolina meeting is planned for Sept. 25th at 6 PM at the Golden Corral. Everyone is invited and welcomed to come. However, you will have to purchase your own food and beverage. For more information please contact Chanese.


Chanese Bailey is your new Program Specialist in the area.  We just finished the Walk Like MADD event May 24th.  Pictures will be in the next news letter. Please contact her to see about volunteering in your area.

Linda Roberts is making things happen.  Linda Roberts is working with Trooper Helms, David Monroe and Brad Putnam to push off up coming safety programs.  She is working on the DWI Task force and is working on the next check point.
