Thanks to everyone who made Saturday night a success.  The atmosphere was wonderful.  Everyone who attended seem to enjoy their self and the food was GREAT!!!   Thanks so much to Dr. Jarod Cruthis for opening and closing with prayer as well as share a few words with us.  THANK YOU MRS. Lori Brown, you did a fantastic job speaking at the 2008 Law Enforcement Awards and Candlelight Vigil.  Thanks to Arnold Owenby for doing the awards and his side kick Joel.  Most of all Southern Triad MADD would like to say "Thank You" to the victims and their families who were able to attend. Also to the law enforcement and their families.
 
We gave Sgt A.W."Pete" Waddell an award for his exceptional work and all his dedication to his job and helping MADD.  He will be retiring this year.
MPO Arthur Milligan won 2008 MADD Officer of the Year.  He is with the Asheboro Police Department.  A terrific officer.
