Meet Other Victims

MADD provides several ways for you to communicate with other victims/survivors of drunk driving crashes.

Message Boards

MADD provides a place to write about your experiences, ask questions or give suggestions.  The MADD message boards are for victims/survivors of drunk driving crashes to discuss emotions, ideas and give each other support.  Here is a link to the MADD message board page.

Chat

Talk live with other victims/survivors via our live chat every Monday at 7:00 p.m. CT and Thursday at 8:30 p.m. CT.  The chat primary role is to connect victims/survivors to others who may have suffered a similar loss or injury.   Feel free to talk or just read the dialogue as chat takes place.  Here are the instructions to participate in a MADD live chat:

  1. Go to http://chat.madd.org
  2. Create an account for the MADD message board, confirm your account and sign in to the MADD message board.
  3. After you have successfully signed in you will see the option to click on chat server in the upper right hand portion of the page.

Support Groups

Social Media

Social media provides victims with the opportunity to connect with those affected by drunk driving.  Share your healing process with others through MADD’s Victim Services Facebook page and Twitter feed and help provide hope and healing to other victims/survivors.
