Location: Irving, Texas


Provides operational support and problem resolution for assigned operating systems. Will resolve day-to-day technical issues and perform systems troubleshooting. Responsible for Network switches, Phone systems, Office365, Microsoft Azure Cloud, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft ATP, Windows servers, Print servers, printers and Desktop administration. This position will interact one-on-one with MADD staff and require independent analysis and clear communication.  Assignments for this role include both routine and non-routine work.  Demonstrate application/technology knowledge or similar related experience as well as general business knowledge.

Foster a culture of philanthropy within MADD. Assure that the organization’s corporate culture, systems and procedures support the goals and objectives of MADD. Lead staff and volunteers to institutionalize philanthropy within the organization.


  1. Installation and administrations of Servers, Routers, Firewalls, Switches, Printers, Microsoft Office, Intune, Microsoft ATP, Microsoft Defender, Windows 10, phone VOIP and other systems as needed.
  2. Responsible for server and desktop patch management using Intune, WSUS
  3. Assist and train others on our team with new technology.
  4. Identify and solving any problems the arise with computer networks and systems.
  5. Responsible for supporting all local and remote offices Internet, Desktops, VPN, Switch and Phone systems.
  6. Assist in updating asset management and inventory.
  7. Security Monitoring and reporting for computer networks and systems to identify how performance and security can be improved.
  8. Document changes and communicate changes to the IT Team.
  9. May serve as a resource to support the department’s escalation model.
  10. Assists in maintaining internal IT knowledge base.
  11. Understands goals and direction of department/organization.
  12. Analyzes end user issues and recommends fixes or improvements.
  13. Serves as a technical support specialist for all enterprise Cloud systems.
  14. May work with outside vendors; vendor contact limited to tactical implementation.
  15. Maintains user/external group access policies for assigned systems.

  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with 5+ or more years of IT experience in a complex and geographically diverse environment.
  2. This position requires dedication, dependability, and self-direction with a desire to both demonstrate and champion continuous learning and improvements in productivity.
  3. Non-profit operations and non-profit application experience are preferred
  4. Understanding of the following:
    1. Office 365 Administration, Microsoft Azure, Windows Server 2019, Windows 10, WSUS, Group Policies, Microsoft Intune, VM technologies, TCP/IP Model, Vlans, Routing and Switching, Visio, Print Servers, Azure AD, Microsoft ATP defender, Disk Imaging technologies, Backup strategies, SharePoint, Ubiquiti Wireless AP, OneDrive, Dropbox, Fortigate and VOIP phone systems
    2. Microsoft Office 365 application suite management (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
    3. Onelogin Identity Access Management and Control
    4. Desktop application installation and support
    5. Help Desk Ticketing applications (JIRA Service Desk is preferred)
    6. Cloud based phone systems and call tree configuration/setup
    7. Conferencing solutions (Zoom, Skype, Blue Jeans, etc…)
    8. LogMeIn and/or Remote User Access software
    9. Firewall reporting, support and baseline configuration
  5. Requires solid customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical people.
  6. Understanding of how software, cloud & network systems relate to operational needs.
  7. Ability to work both independently and with others to resolve issues and maintain composure and professionalism in an environment of changing and/or multiple priorities.
  8. Willingness to take personal responsibility for the outcomes resulting from his/her judgment, guidance, and decisions.
  9. On-call availability for emergencies via email or phone.
  10. Good communication skills with the ability to develop and convey thoughts clearly, logically and concisely both orally and in writing, using appropriate grammar and command of the English language.
  11. Must be able to work on a time table, meet deadlines, follow instructions and accept direction on given assignments.
  12. Ability to tolerate stressful situations and maintain a professional demeanor during times of stress.

Typical Physical and Mental Demands

This position requires working in an office setting and is generally considered sedentary, although this position may require long hours, handling conflicts and making decisions under pressure.  This position may require sitting, standing, lifting (maximum 50 pounds) for at least 8 hours and a normal range of hearing and vision.   The noise level is from quiet to moderate.  This position requires the ability to operate a computer and other office machines such as fax, copier and telephone.  This position must be able to maintain confidentiality and trust.  This position may require a valid State Driver’s License and proof of insurance because the individual may be required to drive to alternate locations away from the office.  Critical thinking, active learning, listening, writing, speaking, negotiating, persuasion, judgment and the ability to work under pressure may be mandatory for this position.

Salary $75,000-$85,000
