Now that all four of our virtual walks are over, we would like to take a minute to thank the families of these four amazing individuals. Thank you for allowing us to honor your loved ones. Thank you for sharing their stories with us. Through you, we were able to get to know them a little better, a privilege that is not lost on us. For our Tri-Town walk, we honored Leah Hall and learned of her love of crafting, yellow roses, softball and volleyball. At the Hartford walk we honored Jeffrey Dziob and learned of the familial significance of dragonflies and his love of the movie “It’s a Wonderful Life”. Now we will smile every time we see a yellow rose and think of Leah, or a dragonfly and think of Jeff. Our fall walks we were set to honor Aislinn Laporta-Kern and Rebecca Romprey. Although we did not get to fully do so this year, we look forward to honoring them both at our fall walks next year and getting to know them better.
