Every day at MADD we strive to remind the public and ourselves the important reasons why we work so tirelessly to prevent drunk driving, drugged driving and underage drinking tragedies. One of the ways we do this is by putting a face on the issue and sharing photos of lives who have been impacted.
At the MADD National Office in Irving, Texas, we display 1,000 bereaved and injured victim photos with the phrase, “You Always Have a Place.” This wall is one of the most striking representations of the hundreds of thousands of people killed or injured every year due to completely preventable crimes. So much so, that we would be honored to feature another victim wall at the National Office, with MADD Victim Services’ tagline, “Helping Survivors Survive”™.
We are asking victims and their families to provide photos of family members who have been killed and/or injury victims representing themselves. The photos must be portraits and only feature individuals who have been killed or injured by a drunk driving and/or drugged driving crash or an underage drinking tragedy.
We will print the photos in black and white; a high resolution (300 dpi) photo will work best so that the photos are clear and the maximum file size is 5MB.
