Not a day goes by that I don’t think of my mom and my sister. It has been almost 15 years since they were needlessly killed by a drunk driver back in January 2004. I think of the many years that were “robbed” from me, the things that both my mom and sister did for me and my own family as well as my siblings cannot be ever be given back. I go from anger to despair at times so I know that this hurt means that I am still grieving. This feeling will never go away for me. I miss them so much! My mom was the backbone of our family after my dad passed and to be taken in this manner was done in such a cruel and ruthless manner. I want to thank my mom for the years I did have with her, as well as my sister. I can’t wait to see them again. I love you both.
