My 17 yr old daughter, Briana was killed by a drunk driver in an accident on Sept. 2, 2017.Cause of death was traumatic brain injury. Judges and courts need to enforce a “no tolerance” policy. The man who hit us was on probation for 2 DWIs and driving on a revoked license when he killed my daughter and severely injured my husband. There is NO Justifiable reason he was given probation for a 2nd DWI while still on probation for a previous conviction. Had he been put in jail where he belonged, he wouldn’t have been on the road that Labor Day weekend and I would still have my daughter. He’s now charged with 2nd degree murder. Why do the courts wait for a tragedy like this to get these people off the road and in jail?
