Matthew was my only son and youngest child. He was so smart and always made us laugh. In September 22, 2002 on the way home from the store and only a half a mile from home, he was hit by a drunk driver. After two days in the hospital on September 24, we had to let him go and made the choice that he would be an organ donor. He ended up helping 46 people in death! We have yet to have our offender placed behind bars but I know I won’t be the one to judge him — God will one day. Why people continue to drink and drive confounds me with all the options available to them. Stupidity. I love and miss my son each day and his sisters and father do as well. We talk of him constantly as he will never be forgotten.
