April 23rd will be a year and a half since my son who had just turned 20 was killed on impact, along with 3 of his close friends, one being his best friend since elementary school. They were hit head on by a speeding drunk/drugged driver; who 3hrs after the accident still had a BAL more than 3 times the legal limit. He walked away with a broken ankle. My son had a heart of gold. He would give you the shirt off his back, the last dime in his pocket, a ride if you needed to be somewhere or to get home, a couch to sleep on if you needed somewhere to sleep for a night or two & a meal if you were hungry. He was the one all of his friends went to if they needed a shoulder to lean (or cry) on or even just a hug. He was the best listener in the world and never judged anyone. We miss his smiling face every single day. We know he is in heaven watching over us. We speak to him everyday, even if it’s just to say we love him. ??♥️
