On 12/5/15 at 1:45 am, my daughter Tabitha was T-boned by a drunk driver when coming home from bowling with some friends. She had to be cut from her vehicle with the jaws of life. She sustained multiple injuries and fractures but the most life threatening was a severe traumatic brain injury. We were told she would probably never wake up. SHE DID so today I light the candle in honor of Tabitha.
The last 5 years have been a roller coaster for sure, but today we now see more ups than we do downs. Tabitha is still working with learning to talk, to walk, working on swallowing – the list goes on and on and always will.
Please don’t drink and drive!
I love you Tabitha! You are my inspiration.
