Sometimes the little things are the most important. That is how we feel about volunteers who support the MADD Nebraska staff through office work. It may seem like the smallest thing to help with, but the impact you make on the mission is huge! MADD Nebraska is so thankful for the work that is done by our office support volunteers, we truly couldn’t do it without them.

While this volunteer role is limited to those who are close to our state office in Lincoln, it is vitally important to what we do. It’s the little things. From stuffing envelopes to packing bags for a walk event, these projects seem small but we wouldn’t be able to accomplish the MADD mission without these things. Even more, we love doing these projects with our volunteers. While we are always working together towards a common mission, it is not every day that we get to sit side by side and physically work together towards that goal. When we have office support volunteers, we get the opportunity to work with them in a different way than some of the other volunteer roles across the state.

So how do you know if this is the role for you?! Well, if you love the feeling of accomplishing a task or getting a project done, this is a good fit. If you are open to making phone calls or filing, stuffing, packing or doing data entry and research, this might be the role for you! If you would like to learn more about getting involved with us here at MADD Nebraska in this role or any volunteer role we have highlighted, please give us a call at (402) 434-5330 or email ne.state@madd.org.
