MADD’s statement in response to news about Mt. Sterling Mayor asking for police officers’ resignations

If these accusations are true, the mayor’s actions are outrageous and unacceptable. It is the job of law enforcement to keep us safe from drunk drivers, and to fire law enforcement officers for doing what’s right and upholding the law is beyond belief. The mayor needs to explain why he would take this irresponsible and dangerous action.
