New Camera Among Walk Fundraising Prizes
As a thank you for top fundraising teams for Walk Like MADD Columbia Presented by Uber, MADD has a couple of great prizes available, including a new Canon PowerShot SX420 camera. The camera, valued at more than $250, will be awarded in a drawing among teams that have raised $1,000 or more by March 10th. The drawing will take place at the Walk Like MADD Kick-Off Luncheon at Thompsons Funeral Home.
In another drawing on the 10th, an exclusive Walk Like MADD electronic photo Christmas ornament will go to one of the team captains of a team with 15 or more paid registrations.
This is all in an effort to have our most successful Walk Like MADD Columbia yet. Walk Like MADD will be a night walk at the SC Criminal Justice Academy on Saturday, April 14th and will end up with a ceremony where we cheer on law enforcement locally and agencies doing DUI enforcement all over the state that night. We will “Shine A Light on DUI” because our first responders are so important to our mission.
