Richardson Thomas generously supporting the work of MADD SC

MADD SC is excited to share a new partnership with the law firm of Richardson, Thomas, Haltiwanger, Moore, & Lewis. Through one of the largest single donations we’ve received in South Carolina, the firm, which represents impaired driving crash victims in civil cases, will make a huge impact in our work.

“Richardson Thomas shares the same goals as MADD,” said Will Lewis, a partner in the firm. “We do everything we can to help families suffering from loss caused by drunk driving and hold those responsible accountable. So does MADD. We’ve seen how this organization has helped our clients, and we feel privileged to support their mission.”

The firm is a strong supporter of law enforcement and will be the Presenting Sponsor for MADD SC’s first Law Enforcement Recognition Dinner & Training Symposium, to be held on July 15th and 16th in North Charleston. At that event, MADD will recognize excellence in DUI and underage drinking enforcement as well as outstanding contributions from partner efforts such as DUI prosecutors and community coalitions.

Richardson Thomas also recognizes the strong history and impact of volunteerism through MADD and for 2022 and 2023 will be our Volunteer Supporting Presenting Sponsor. That support will boost our efforts to recruit, engage, and recognize volunteers, which affects every area of our work.

The Richardson Thomas team participated in its first MADD event at the 2022 Walk Like MADD Columbia, but we are so happy that will be the first of many!
