Drunk and Drugged driving continues to put Tennesseans at risk on our roadways.  More than half of the samples submitted to the TBI’s Toxicology unit for testing last year in DUI, Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA), or Vehicular Homicide (VH) cases tested over the legal limit for alcohol.  The rest were tested for drugs.  This graphic depicts just some of what the TBI saw last year in cases where living drivers were tested for drugs or alcohol.
